Water-wise Without the Compromise® Certified Label Program

Water-wise Without the Compromise® Certified Plants... are a careful selection of plants with lush foliages, bright colors, dramatic contrasts and interesting textures that are combined to create a whole new kind of look that is both durable and beautiful—and at a fraction of the water-use of traditional landscaping!

All have been tested extensively in a wide range of landscape environments, and have proven themselves to be reliable. You can be assured that the right plants for your project get on the job! There are so many new and innovative plant varieties that it can be difficult to locate or identify them properly. However, you can specify that the project only accept plants with the Water-wise Without the Compromise® Certified Plants Tag or Label.These labels can be affixed to the container of each individual specified plant, with its correct botanical name printed on the same tag.

Specification:

The original planting plan will have an instruction by each plant variety on the plant key. The instruction will specify that the plant needs to arrive on the job with the certified label. Each plant supplied to the project must be tagged for accuracy of identification and verification of the correct variety by having a Water-wise Without the Compromise® Certified Tag or Label affixed.

This label must display the trademarked logo of the aforementioned description, with the botanical name of the correct plant printed on the same label. Any plant varieties marked on the planting plan with the instruction that arrive on the project without the required label on each plant will be rejected at the contractor’s expense, and cannot be installed on the project. These labels are accessible to any supplier/grower of nursery plants who has the correct varieties requested for this project.
